Tired of the same old 5K races or silly scavenger hunts? So are we, that's why Treasure Race was created. It's a unique experience where physical fitness takes a back seat to wit and strategy. In this modern-day race, technology and reality intertwine, offering a potentially life-altering outcome. Teams must rely on cleverness, camaraderie, patience, technology, and diversity to triumph.

The Race

Treasure Race is an app-based excursion that immerses your team in a multi-day adventure across your chosen state. Each race presents varying challenges in terms of size, duration, and total mileage, ensuring an element of unpredictability.

States are divided into 5 regions, with each region holding 5 clues of different point values. Teams can select their starting region independently as there is no fixed starting line. Once a region is chosen, the team is bound to it until all 5 clues are unraveled, accumulating 20,000 points to complete the region.

Clues may consist of multiple parts or sub-clues, unveiled as teams reach specific checkpoints or submit correct answers. Sub-clues contribute to the main clue but do not yield additional points until the entire puzzle is solved.

If a team struggles with a clue, they may opt to abandon the region triggering the Goose Chase. This chase leads teams on secondary tasks and alternative locations until 20,000 points are achieved for the region and new clues are revealed.

Upon accumulating 100,000 points by completing all 5 regions, teams unlock the X region with a final clue. The first team to decipher this clue claims the treasure of $100,000.

The Basics:

• Teams must comprise 2 – 6 members who must stick together throughout the race.
• Answering regional clues involves exploring and deciphering within each respective region.
• The adventure takes place regardless of weather conditions.
• While intelligence plays a significant role in most challenges, teams need a blend of skills as some tasks demand physical ability, extreme patience, and humor.
• Teams are responsible for costs such as wireless/internet access, fuel, accommodations, tolls, fines for traffic violations, and other incidental expenses.
• Races kick off at 8 am daily and wrap up at 9 pm with app functionalities paused.
